In each holiday pack we include a comprehensive feedback form covering all aspects of the holiday. Some of our client feedback quotes below are taken from responses to this questionnaire, and the rest from emails sent by clients at the end of their holidays.
Impressed with the overall organisation and efficiency.
We have had a fantastic walking holiday. It was very well organized, luggage transport was great. Most B&B’s even put our bags in our room for us. Very nice after a days walk. All the people on the way (B&B owners and fellow coasters) were very friendly and helpful. The walk itself was splendid and we enjoyed it thoroughly. It was a real relaxing holiday even when we had to walk 30 odd kilometers a day!
Thank you very much for organizing and I hope to do another walk some day.
The walk was challenging in parts but a fantastic experience for both of us. We loved it and feel quite deflated now it is over!
Just a quick note to say thank you for all your help, particularly sorting out accommodation for my husband at the last minute. We have had the most fantastic experience, and will recommend Mickledore to anyone contemplating a similar adventure.
It was a great walk and I enjoyed every day, even the rainy ones. I loved the mountain challenges of the Lakes District and the views along the way were stunning.
We have had a great trip. It was well organised and with very nice B&B’s on the way. The Coast to Coast is a very beautiful hike, also quite heavy to do. We wished we had practiced a little bit more before we started ;-)

We had a good time and more than enjoyable walk and appreciate Mickledore’s assistance in choosing the right lodgings along the way. Would like to live another life to do more walks with Mickledore in the UK – we appreciate the still strong traditional way of life in England, Scotland and Wales. We were exceptionally blessed by the good and clement weather – Imagine we had about 20 minutes of drizzle in a 9 day walk, fantastic! Any way, thanks for your good service and we will certainly spread the word that Mickledore is tops! (thanks also to Sonja for intervening in the transport of our blistered companion).

As Americans, staying in B&B’s and getting to know the hosts was a fantastic part of the trip. They were all different but excellent in their own ways. We deeply appreciate and value your knowledge of the B&B’s and your ability to book us rooms there. You do fantastic work!
