Dear Mickledore Team, we had an absolutely fantastic trip!! In fact, we are back home in the US now, drinking a big cup of British tea, trying to hold on a little longer to any remnant of Yorkshire.

It didn’t hurt that we did the entire walk with NO RAIN (how did you manage that??), but I truly believe we would have enjoyed it anyway. You left no stone unturned, Mickledore. I do believe you covered every aspect of planning.

We were pleased with the maps and guidebook (it seemed to be the one everyone was using) and with our holiday pack. Very thorough. Great to have the photos of the B and B’s along with the directions. I had to chuckle when the service information included even Public Toilets. Quite helpful, really.

Your e-mail responses were prompt and helpful. Your website is attractive and enticing. It is one of the reasons I chose Mickledore in the first place.

Overall, we would rate our level of satisfaction with Mickledore as excellent. We would (and will) recommend you to our friends and yes, we would use your services again.

I had a wonderful walking holiday on the Coast to Coast trail. The booklet and maps you provided were excellent, not to mention detailed information concerning overnight lodging and town amenities.

I’ve never had it so easy when it came to planning and logistics. You did it all for me, from booking my accommodations to providing route information. All I had to concern myself with was the actual walking. The B&B’s were great, the packed lunches were well done, the scenery was fantastic, and everyone I met was really friendly.

Completing the C2C walk was an amazing way to experience Northern England. You not only made it possible for me to have this experience, you made it absolutely worry-free. I know that took a lot of behind-the-scenes work on your part. I appreciate your attention to detail.

I was also really pleased with your responsiveness when it came to answering my email inquiries and arranging for payment. I would not hesitate to highly recommend Mickledore to anyone wanting to experience a supported walking holiday.

Would you use Mickledore again? Absolutely! We were thrilled with Mickledore’s communication and service.

We have now used you twice – though we last year said to each other: ‘We will never do it again. That was too hard’ we changed our minds, because there were so many things/places we didn’t see properly. Therefore we decided to do the walk again – and of course our wish was to stay most of the same places as last year. You did a good job and made it for us. Thank you for your help when one of us was ill and not able to do the walk over the mountains in the Lakes.

We were very happy with the service provided by Mickledore, including the care taken to make alternative arrangements and notify us in advance when last minute changes to accommodation were necessary. The Coast to Coast walk all went very well for our group and I think that we would all recommend you to others for walking holidays in the UK.

You really do a very reliable and thorough job and we can’t think of any way you can improve! We used you for the West Highland Way in 2010 and will do so again. Thank you very much!

I had a wonderful time, but I must say that I underestimate it, it was very hard and I think that it is because Holland is at flat as a pancake!
But the people I meet were all so kind, also the other walkers I meet were fantastic – there was a fine group of people I every time meet.
All the B&B I had were very good, some more luxury than other, but it was always good, there was always tea and a warm welcome and that’s what count.
The organisation was also perfect the bags were always there, the next day a perfect lunch.
So Mickledore I give you a ten plus, thank you very much for your help and if I want to walk in England again I will certainly book with your organisation.

This walk has really been an adventure! Nice weather, nice people, good food, good beer. Five stars. We will market this in Norway!
