We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday thank you. The organisation was excellent and the information you sent was far more than we have experienced before with other companies and proved to be very useful.

We have had a very good holiday. In one word: it was great. All the accommodation you arranged were good or very good. The packed lunches were delightful. The route-description and the other information were very well. I am sorry that I cannot make one suggestion for improvement. It was all very good. Thank you for your excellent service. On our holiday we talked about other walks in the (near) future. And of course we will then take up contact with your organisation.

The holiday was excellent (with good weather) and I have nothing but praise for yourselves and Sherpa.

This was the first time we had tried this type of holiday and we were most impressed with the B & B and hotels used.

The information was very helpful and when we left our instructions in our luggage a speedy response from your team soon sorted it out.

As always the weather did its best to spoil our holiday, hail on the moors, then rain and finally thick sea mist on the coast. However, knowing the high level of accommodation waiting for us each day gave us something to look forward to. The recommended dining places also meant a good choice with no disappointments.

We so enjoyed this type of holiday that we will be looking at the Mickledore website to choose where we go next year.

All my accommodation was excellent overall. Having done the C2C walk in 13 days last year, I was probably a bit too easy on myself taking 7 days to do Hadrian’s Wall! Well done. I will certainly use your company again if I choose to do another walk in England.

Hi Mickledore: We had a wonderful trip and a lifetime experience. My Finnish friend was truly amazed to see how wonderful the English countryside could be and is already planning his next trip. All the B&Bs were excellent and Sherpa was very efficient in transporting our luggage.We thank you for doing a great job in organizing the trip and we will certainly consider you again for any future expeditions. By the way – there were a lot of over-70s doing the C2C. There was one 72-year old who did it in 6 days. I am 75 and I didn’t find it too taxing. Geriatric power!

We did the Cotswold Way CT8 in June of this year and can wholeheartedly recommend it. Mickledore did a fine job in arranging everything, the guesthouses were fine (albeit we found some mattresses far too soft).
What we found most impressive were the trees that are many hundreds of years old that we passed by on our way. And we choose the perfect time of year: whitethorn, daisies, buttercups, cow-parsley, cowslip, wild garlic in bloom, dandelion all blowballs. We even had luck with the weather.
Next year, we think we would fancy the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.

We enjoyed our walking holiday in England very much! We met very friendly and helpfull people along the way and at the accommodations, we enjoyed the beautiful landscapes during our walks on the Hadrian’s Wall Path and have tasted delicious meals at the accommodations, Inns and Guest Houses. It was a great time and the weather was beautiful (we were expecting rain, and the people we met usually said that it had rained the past months and this were the first few days with sunny weather).

Thank you Mickledore and your team for your great and friendly service. We came, we saw and we got some sore feet, but we enjoyed it all the way! Thank you very much!
