I thought Mickledore was terrific, would definitely recommend you to others (and have already). Everything about the trip was fine, and *before* the trip I was impressed by how quickly and accurately you responded to all my e-mails. Our favorite B&B was the first, Fellcroft, in Corbridge, just because the proprietor (whose name I’ve forgotten!) was SO warm and welcoming. Other proprietors were perfectly nice, but this one was really a pleasure to stay with.

Thank you Mickledore! We loved our C2C trek and can’t thank you enough for all you did in setting it up. It was the perfect way to celebrate our 30th anniversary!

As Americans, staying in B&B’s and getting to know the hosts was a fantastic part of the trip. They were all different but excellent in their own ways. We deeply appreciate and value your knowledge of the B&B’s and your ability to book us rooms there. You do fantastic work!

Congrats on your organisation and, as before on our Hadrian’s Wall walk, almost everything was fine. Most bed and breakfasts were good to excellent. We certainly had an enjoyable nine days and we shall no doubt be back to book another walk in the next year or so. Thank you for everything.

We had a good time and more than enjoyable walk and appreciate Mickledore’s assistance in choosing the right lodgings along the way. Would like to live another life to do more walks with Mickledore in the UK – we appreciate the still strong traditional way of life in England, Scotland and Wales. We were exceptionally blessed by the good and clement weather – Imagine we had about 20 minutes of drizzle in a 9 day walk, fantastic! Any way, thanks for your good service and we will certainly spread the word that Mickledore is tops! (thanks also to Sonja for intervening in the transport of our blistered companion).

We have had a great trip. It was well organised and with very nice B&B’s on the way. The Coast to Coast is a very beautiful hike, also quite heavy to do. We wished we had practiced a little bit more before we started ;-)

It was a great walk and I enjoyed every day, even the rainy ones. I loved the mountain challenges of the Lakes District and the views along the way were stunning.
