From the start to the end you have understood what we were looking for and delivered it. All places we visited and stayed at were of a very good standard.

For one week we feel us as a Empire!
We walk the Harianus Wall as ‘n Empire this was supper, thanks to Mickledore travel. We ran down the Hadrian Wall, and came in the most beautiful B&B’s. With care Mickledore found greet beautiful Bed and Breakfast, and in some they cooked especially for us the diner at high level. Every morning a breakfast as ‘n empire and lunch packed well made. We left to our next destination. Our luggage was sent through the next B&B, there for we had no looking after. We enjoyed the views, flowers and plants, the diversion of sheep breeds, and cattle on the route. Mickledore cannot guarantee for a good forecast, but we had a super week with only two days of rain, it was greet !. This was our first walking holiday, but after this experience, we look forward to next year program from Mickledore. We recommend everyone who love nature and history to do this walk!

My Hadrians Wall Walk was absolutely fantastic!!! Due to beautiful scenery, wonderful people, interesting bits of Roman culture and your perfect organisation. Years ago I booked a walking holiday package in Switzerland but if I compare it with your service, the Swiss one was just ridiculous. Thank you very much for all your support. I must say, my Hadrian’s Wall holiday was one of my best in my entire life.

Would you use Mickledore again? Yes- and I will recommend.

In general everything was splendid, we loved all the B and B’s, each with its own style, and it was great not to have to bother with all the organising you do so well. The length of the days was just right, allowing time to visit forts and museums in an unhurried way: we met several people who were walking twice as far or more in a day, and this struck us as perverse — there is so much else to see over and above the wall itself, glorious though that is.

We had a fantastic time and can find no faultwith your organisation. Looking forward to our next adventure.

This is the first self guided holiday I have taken in the UK and I was very pleased with all aspects of the trip.

We had a great time, despite the weather being cold and damp much of the time, and were happy with the arrangements and the walk itself. What you’re doing is working well – from the moment we got in touch we received good, knowledgeable service and there were no negative surprises! The reality met and exceeded expectations.

It was a wonderful experience, helped by excellent autumn weather and scenery.

Good morning Mickledore folks! I think my legs are still walking even though the trail has ended. We had a wonderful time – no rain for the eight days! – and met many interesting people. Some of those people had also booked their walk through you and all felt delighted with you personal service. We would certainly use you again for a similar situation. You deserve all the credit possible for making our trip so smooth. We did hear of the Coast-to-Coast walk and the Rob Roy Walk – these may get future consideration.
