I had a wonderful walking holiday on the Coast to Coast trail. The booklet and maps you provided were excellent, not to mention detailed information concerning overnight lodging and town amenities.

I’ve never had it so easy when it came to planning and logistics. You did it all for me, from booking my accommodations to providing route information. All I had to concern myself with was the actual walking. The B&B’s were great, the packed lunches were well done, the scenery was fantastic, and everyone I met was really friendly.

Completing the C2C walk was an amazing way to experience Northern England. You not only made it possible for me to have this experience, you made it absolutely worry-free. I know that took a lot of behind-the-scenes work on your part. I appreciate your attention to detail.

I was also really pleased with your responsiveness when it came to answering my email inquiries and arranging for payment. I would not hesitate to highly recommend Mickledore to anyone wanting to experience a supported walking holiday.

Coast to Coast, May 2014

Once again the holiday was absolutely superb and your choice of accommodation first class. I didn’t realise how good and clean the beaches were in this part of Northumberland. I found the coastline quite special and it was good to have the choice between walking on the beach or the dunes on certain stretches of the trail. I was blessed with dry weather for the first two days, but the first part of Saturday was grim and wet weather gear was essential. I love to come up north for my walks, as you may have gathered, so I don’t expect wall to wall sunshine for days on end. In fact the Northumberland coast boasts quite a dry climate, especially in relation to the west coast, but you are no doubt well aware of that fact in Keswick!! Thank you Mickledore for a great holiday and I am now looking forward to the Cotswold Way walk in September, whilst contemplating the Cumbria Way for next year.

Northumberland Coast Path, May 2014

We had a really great holiday and were impressed with the organisation and accommodation

Cleveland Way, May 2014

In general everything was splendid, we loved all the B and B’s, each with its own style, and it was great not to have to bother with all the organising you do so well. The length of the days was just right, allowing time to visit forts and museums in an unhurried way: we met several people who were walking twice as far or more in a day, and this struck us as perverse — there is so much else to see over and above the wall itself, glorious though that is.

Hadrian’s Wall Walk, April 2014

The holiday was excellent. Weather was kind, accommodation was interesting and your support was first-class.

Dales Way, April 2014

We had a fantastic time and can find no faultwith your organisation. Looking forward to our next adventure.
