They are an independent company based in England that takes care of all the planning for a multi day walking trip in the UK. They book all your accommodation La along the route and the planning of daily luggage transfer. Customer service is excellent. Both during the planning stage and along the trail they are there to support you.

Holiday rating

Walking holiday over 5 days planned from St Bees to Patterdale. Mickledore Travel organised accommodation and support such as moving bags. It was my first experience of a UK long distance walk and it was a fabulous one. We were lucky to have only one rainy day and even then enjoyed the walk as the scenery is so incredible. Staying in hotels along the way allowed rest and recuperation for the next day ahead.

At short notice they were able to books accommodation for a popular walk. This did involve using a hotel they had little experience of so they checked with us before booking. They also arranged for the bag collections and movements, even with a last minute final day change and were flexible and helpful. We gave them feedback abut the hotels used and what extra information we would have found helpful and they were appreciative and listened so clearly work to improve the customer experience.

THe Kerry way is a unique walking experience in the south-West of Ireland. Fantastic views and landscapes Show all the Beauty of this country,. You walk on very quiet ways away from all the busy traffic also doing the Kerry way. The prebooked B&Bs are outstanding, and the luggage transfer worked without any problem.

We already know Mickledore from out first tour „Coast to Coast“in UK and the perfectly organized cosy accomodations, the paper tour guide and the superb luggage transfer convinced uns from the First day. Therefore of course we also chose Mickledore for the Kerry Way in Ireland

We would recommend walking the Dingle Way. Good way marking, great views and a warm welcome. Easy to get to the start from Kerry airport. We have used Mickledore before and yet again they didn’t disappoint. All the travel information is clear and they are always on hand to help if needed.
