We walked another section of the SW Coastal Path, from St Ives to Coverack, supported as always by the reliable and wonderful Mickledore! Superb scenery, sunshine on tap, great accommodation and delicious food mostly fish and other local Cornish produce. So many iconic locations on this part of the path – St Michael’s Mount, Mousehole, The Lizard and Land’s End. Highly recommended (but the walking is tough!).
We booked the Coast to Coast Walk with Mickledore, and they provided us with a wonderful holiday. We often felt like we had the best choice of accommodation in each of the towns which we stayed in. Mickledore offered a great holiday for the price.
I have done many walks with Mickledore (West Highland Way, Great Glen Way, SW Coastal Path, Coast to Coast, Cotswolds Round, Thames Path) and I plan to do many more (Northumberland Coast next). All have been seamlessly organised with a high standard of accommodation, reliable luggage transfer and useful trail information. The staff are responsive and knowledgeable. I recommend them without hesitation. Five stars from me.
