What a holiday it was – by far the best walking holiday ever experienced. Thank you so much for all the meticulous arrangements and above all else for the glorious weather! It was truly a fantastic holiday providing a mixture of glorious walking country and fascinating Roman remains and museums. The day at Vindolanda was quite exceptional. All the accommodations were also superb. And the transportation of our luggage worked perfectly. It is no wonder that we heard the same comment at each place we stayed –‘Mickledore is the best company of them all’.So thank you so much for such a wonderful service. My son (who is autistic) who accompanied me along with his support worker had been looking forward to walking part of Hadrian’s Wall for some 3 years and for him it was a tremendous achievement. And I am so glad that I chose Mickledore to plan the holiday. We will doubtless be using your services again in the future.
